Hey everyone, the School Charity Sale to benefit the animal shelter is now in progress!  Please use this Blog to help you plan the event.  Mrs. McNary, Ms. Karnowski and I are available to help.  First and foremost, please use this Blog to sign up for any one of the jobs needed for the event.  Some people have already said they wanted to help in certain categories, so I've already put those names down on the list (if you've changed your mind and want your name off the list, LET ME KNOW!)

  4. I volunteer to write the articles, bake cookies, and be a Sales helper. I would also help with Donation Coordination or Treasurers, if needed/ wanted.

  5. Allie, that's great!! Anyone else want to help with the newsletter articles?
I heard Fiona is interested in helping with the Slovak announcement too. Fiona, do you need help with that?

  6. Okay, added Allie to the various categories. Also heard Ronald would help Fiona with the Slovak announcements. If that isn't correct, let me know!

Later, I'll post the collection and sale details so you guys can write the articles.

  12. Okay, Emma, I'll put you on Sales help and later we'll organize "shifts" so people can take turns working as cashiers and sales help. You had signed up as a treasurer; should I take you off that list?

Vincent, we'll have to discuss the details of the posters later, so you guys know what to put on the posters.

    Glad you're all psyched!

  13. REMINDER: you must sign your comments with your FIRST NAME and class.
Whoever it was that said 11 is enough, well, if Ronald wants to sign up, great! Remember, the English classes from downstairs might come, and it will be good to have some of our students who can speak both Slovak and English. And, we will work in shifts; the people who help on sale day might not be at the sale all day. That depends on the teacher.

We'll work out the schedule a bit later.

  14. Ronald, are you going to help Fiona with the Slovak announcements too? Your name is on the list. As we get the details worked out for the day, you two can work on the posters. The announcements for downstairs will need to be ready by March 15.
